💡 Stadium upgrades are a long-term investment!
👥 Fan Demand & Ticket Pricing
The number of fans attending your matches depends on several factors. Understanding them is key to maximizing your stadium revenue.
What influences attendance?
- Competition level — Very High influence. Higher-level competitions attract exponentially more fans. This is the single biggest factor.
- Ticket price — Very High influence. Higher prices reduce attendance significantly. The effect is non-linear: moderate prices cause moderate drops, but expensive tickets drastically cut attendance.
- Competition type — High influence. Official competitions attract more fans than Sit & Go, which attract more than Initiation tournaments.
- Team prestige — Medium influence. Prestigious teams (both home and away) draw bigger crowds. A match between two prestigious clubs can attract up to double the fans.
- Star players — Medium influence. Players with high mediatic value attract additional fans. The most famous players from both teams are considered.
- Cup stage — Medium influence. Later rounds of cup competitions (semi-finals, finals) attract considerably more fans than early rounds.
- Recent form — Medium influence. A winning streak boosts attendance, while a losing streak reduces it.
Revenue streams
- Ticket sales: Attendance multiplied by ticket price. Finding the sweet spot is essential.
- Bar sales: Each spectator spends at the bar. More bars installed = more revenue per fan.
- Merchandising: Based on overall demand (not just who attends). Star players with high mediatic value significantly boost merch sales.
💡 Tip: Don't set ticket prices too high! A packed stadium at a moderate price often earns more than an empty one at premium prices. Also, merchandising revenue benefits from star players regardless of ticket price.
⚠️ Your stadium capacity is a hard ceiling — no matter how high the demand, you can never exceed your number of seats.
