Age and Potential

Younger players have much more room for improvement through training. As players age, their growth potential decreases. Invest in young talent for long-term development!

Contracts

  • Salary: Each player receives their daily salary once per day.
  • Rescission clause: The price a rival must pay to negotiate directly with your player, bypassing you.
  • Seasons remaining: A season lasts one calendar month. When it reaches 0, the player becomes a free agent.

Personality

Each player has their own personality and charisma, which influences how they behave in negotiations, their effect on the dressing room and how they handle pressure.

💡 Every player is unique — there is always some randomness in simulation, just like real football.

Player Positions

Each player has a recommended position (GK, D, M, F) where they perform best. However, positions are a guide, not a rule.

Quality first, position second

A good goalkeeper will always be a better striker than a bad player whose recommended position is striker. Always prioritize player quality over their recommended position — put your best players on the pitch first, then worry about where to place them.

Position improvement

Each time a player plays in a position, there is a small chance they improve their performance in that role. Over time, a player can even change their preferred position through these improvements.

⚠️ Playing a player out of position does reduce their effectiveness — but a great player out of position is still better than a bad player in position!

Player Morale

Morale represents the player's happiness and motivation.

Morale levels

  • Ecstatic: Peak performance.
  • Happy: Good performance, stable.
  • Content: Normal performance.
  • Neutral: Slightly affected.
  • Unhappy: Reduced performance.
  • Sad/Devastated: Significant negative impact.

What affects morale

  • Winning matches increases morale.
  • Signing a new contract boosts morale.
  • Losing matches and negative events decrease it.
  • Over time, morale naturally tends back to Content.
💡 Keep your key players happy! Unhappy players accept transfer offers from rivals more easily.

Player Form (Rhythm)

Form reflects the player's current match readiness.

Form levels

  • Peak: Maximum match impact.
  • Good: Above average.
  • Normal: Standard level.
  • Building: Not yet up to speed.
  • Cold: Lowest form.

Playing matches regularly and using the Physical Trainer helps improve form.

Player Fatigue

Fatigue reflects how worn out your players are. The more they play, the more tired they get — and tired players perform worse and are more injury-prone.

Fatigue by competition level

  • Levels 1-2 (Flash, Duel): Players suffer no fatigue during matches and fully recover afterwards. Play freely!
  • Level 3+ (Qualifier, Sit & Go, League): Fatigue accumulates match by match based on energy spent. Managing fatigue is key to competing.
ℹ️ At levels 1-2, the system is designed to let you play freely and build your team without fatigue constraints.

Matches per day guideline

  • 1 match per day: No problem. Players can handle this comfortably.
  • 2 matches per day: They will start to feel it by the end of the month.
  • 3 matches per day: You need to keep a close eye on rotation.
  • 4 or more: Counterproductive — exhaustion and injuries will pile up.

Training and fatigue

Training your players gets them into form and can lead to improvements, but it also adds fatigue. Balance training with rest for the best results.

The Physical Trainer helps your players recover faster.

⚠️ Playing fatigued players significantly increases the chance of injury. Rotate your squad!

Contracts & Renewals

Each player has a contract including salary, duration and rescission clause.

Contract components

  • Salary: Weekly payment. Higher salary = better morale.
  • Seasons remaining: When it reaches 0, the player becomes a free agent.
  • Rescission clause: The price a rival must pay to negotiate directly with your player.

Renewals

Players with expiring contracts will approach you to renew. You can offer new terms.

💡 Protect your best players! Set a high rescission clause when renewing to prevent rivals from easily poaching them.
⚠️ If you do not renew in time, the player will leave as a free agent — you get nothing!
